Cirba to Speak at Wall Street Technology Association Panel on \”Software-Defined Everything\”

Discussion will offer strategic insight into how financial services organizations can capitalize on software-defined technologies

Toronto, Ontario – January 13, 2015 – Cirba Inc., the leading provider of software-defined infrastructure control solutions, today announced that CTO & Co-Founder Andrew Hillier will be appearing as a speaker in a Wall Street Technology Association (WSTA) panel on January 15 in New York City aimed at cutting through the software-defined hype.

As many financial services organizations start their journey to the software-defined data center (SDDC), many focus on point solutions such as software-defined networking (SDN) technologies. Instead, it is important that organizations view the SDDC as an operational state that is achieved by adopting a policy-based, codified approach to controlling all the moving parts within the infrastructure. Leveraged by some of the world\’s largest IT operations, Cirba\’s software-defined solutions balance application demand with infrastructure supply to maximize efficiency and achieve unprecedented levels of automation and software-defined control.

Joined by other industry luminaries and moderated by CEO and Founder of Nemertes Research, Johna Till Johnson, Hillier will be discussing this new universe of software-defined everything. In particular, Hillier will provide his take on how technologies like SDN tear down the traditional fences in environments and open the door to a number of new issues related to service levels, performance, compliance, software licensing and cost.
