CiRBA Expands Management Team to Accommodate Growth VP Engineering, VP Finance & Administration Round out Seasoned Executive Team
Toronto, Ontario – June 6, 2006 -CiRBA Inc., a leader in Data Center Intelligence, today announced that Jeff Pauze, vice president of engineering, and Fred Albi, vice president of finance and administration, have joined the company’s executive team. CiRBA, which recently announced additional financing and a new Data Center Intelligence (DCI) solution, is expanding the management team to accommodate growth, advance the technology, and meet increased customer demand. Both executives previously worked with CiRBA CEO and President Gerry Smith at Changepoint, an IT Governance software company acquired in 2004 by Compuware Corporation.
As CiRBA’s vice president of engineering, Jeff Pauze will apply nearly two decades of software development and engineering experience to grow the engineering team, inspire innovation and help to define company strategy from a technology perspective. Prior to CiRBA, Pauze spent 8 years at Changepoint, and subsequently joined Compuware following the acquisition. Most recently as director of software development, Pauze was responsible for driving the overall development of the Changepoint product, specializing in architectural design and scalability. Prior to Changepoint, Pauze spent 10 years in software development and engineering at American Express.
Fred Albi joins CiRBA as vice president of finance and administration, responsible for financial and administrative matters including reporting, controls, budgeting and information technology. With an expertise in financial reporting and analysis, Albi will ensure that CiRBA’s management team has access to timely financial data for making important business decisions. Before joining CiRBA, Albi held the director of finance position for Algorithmics a $100M risk management software company. Previously, he served as controller for Changepoint and held various financial management and consulting positions at Microforum Inc, an enterprise software development company.
Gerry Smith, president and CEO of CiRBA, was formerly CEO and founder of Changepoint Corporation, where he worked with both Pauze and Albi. “I am excited to welcome Jeff Pauze and Fred Albi to our growing team at CiRBA,” said Smith. “Jeff brings a proven engineering and development background that will enable CiRBA to shape the future of Data Center Intelligence.
